Founded in 2008 by the owners of Ocotea Transfers and Tours, a local company providing tours and local travel advice around Monteverde, the Ocotea Boutique hotel fulfills a dream to blend local expertise and an authentic, personalized boutique experience.
A Modern, Luxurious Design
Today, the Ocotea Boutique Hotel comprises 21 modern, elegant rooms that provide a real escape for guests who come here to get to know and explore the cloud forests and mountains so beloved of the owners.
The hotel's contemporary design sets it apart from other, more rustic hotels around Monteverde. This place, though, is unique, despite that. It might be modern, but it's supremely comfortable. And importantly, the design of the Ocotea Boutique Hotel follows all the latest ecological and sustainable practices to minimize the hotel's environmental impact. It's perhaps the only hotel in Monteverde especially designed in this way.
The 21 rooms and suites at the Ocotea Boutique Hotel come with either a king-size or two queen-size beds (except for a room with one queen-size bed).
