I'm from England, born in Belgium. My love for travel started at a young age. My dad's job took us all around Europe and we finally settled in Bristol, England. When I was 16, I embarked on a Travel and Tourism Management course, followed by a degree in tourism at university.
I have lived and breathed tourism all my adult career life and have worked at hotels, tour operators and travel agencies and even taught tourism at a Further Education college in the UK. I travel as much as I can, whenever I can.
In 2007, I moved to Costa Rica after meeting my Tico husband whilst backpacking through Central America. We were married in 2010 and had our son, Kai, in 2018!
I started working for Costa Rican Vacations in 2010 and haven't looked back. Part of my job is to travel the country, staying at the hotels we offer and experience it all.
