How to Get to Aguila de Osa: An Adventure on Itself
Aguila de Osa is reachable mainly by boat. You can walk along a jungle trail from Drake Bay, crossing a cool bridge over the river, but you won't - not with your luggage. So a boat it is, which is reason number one why this is an excellent eco-lodge to check out. However, the adventure starts before you arrive!
You'll get there from Drake Bay Airstrip, where they'll pick you up from your flight and take you to the beach to hop on your boat. Or you can take a longer boat ride from Palma Sur. Either way, it's an adventure getting here to an eco-lodge that's all about the experience.
Rustic Luxury in the Rainforest
Aguila de Osaās property sits on 28 acres of protected rainforest. The hotelās 11 guest rooms and two suites sit on lush, green slopes overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the offshore CaƱo Island.
The guest rooms highlight Aguila de Osa's rustic style, with natural hardwood furnishings and basic amenities like ceiling fans, minibar, and warm showers. Be aware the rooms have no TVs or A/C.
