The beach is just steps away from your room, and the Golfo Dulce is perfect for swimming (jump off the end of the dock if you want), kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, whale/dolphin watching, and fishing. The wildlife around Playa Nicuesa is fantastic. Keep your eyes open for frogs, lizards, toucans, macaws, parrots, sloths, monkeys, possums, spiders, lobsters, butterflies, caymans, wild pigs, and more. You could also spot a feral cat or tapir with a great deal of luck.

The lodge's commitment to nature is evident in its environmental practices. The property recycles and has minimal energy usage processes. They also grow several ingredients and source locally for toiletries, such as soap and insect repellent.
