Each pool is designed to blend seamlessly with the surroundings, and several have small details like human-made waterfalls where you can sit and let the water relax your shoulders.

Las Lagunas has terraces and 12 pools with views of Arenal Volcano. There is also a swim-up bar.

The Perdido Springs are seven pools hidden between the vegetation, connected by trails. This section has the monkey waterslide, so make sure to visit; the kids especially will love it.

The hot springs at Club Rio are located near the river that crosses the property, providing canyon and rainforest views.

Club del Rio has many activities you can enjoy, including kayaking, river tubing, horseback riding, hiking trails, nature tours, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, and the hot springs. 

One of the main attractions is the resort’s Wildlife Reserve. Both kids and grown-ups alike can admire Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity up close. The rescued residents are pumas, ocelots, margays, jaguarundis, capuchin monkeys, squirrel monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, wild turkeys, and more.

Outside visitors can enter Club del Rio, so reserve your space and pay attention to the schedules so you can make the most of your trip.

The view looks out directly to the Volcano over a sun terrace and a heated Lagoon-style pool with an infinity edge and waterfall along with an embedded infinity-edge overflow Jacuzzi. The patio has two outdoor loggias featuring a dining table for six on one side and a comfortable seating area on the other. The “Great Room” is also equipped with an LCD TV and a surround sound system with mobile compatibility.

The indoor living area has a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, and counter bar. There is also a dining table for eight people. A poolside Gazebo for outdoor dining with a 10-person dining table and an open-air, circular fire pit terrace for outdoor dining.

The Laguna Room is in the west wing of the villa. Spacious suite (796 sq. ft.) boasts two full bathrooms, a king-size bed, a queen-size trundle bed, and a full-size sofa. The Laguna Room is great for couples, which offers two desks, closets, and a jacuzzi tub on the balcony.  

The Bahia Room is the east wing of the villa, and this room plan (775 sq. ft.) features a split-level plan with the bed and bathroom on the top level and a two-step lower living area with a sofa bed, loveseat, and minibar. An enormous marble bathroom with an oversized shower and a jacuzzi tub.

The center of the building features a primary bedroom on the second floor with a full marble bath and a jacuzzi and hammock on the oversized balcony.

There are two guest rooms at the back of the building (one on each floor) with two king beds and large full bathrooms.

Two guest houses on either side of the villa are available as additional space to rent.

Both are dual master bedrooms complete with luxurious marbled master baths with Jacuzzi tubs, oversized indoor showers, and outdoor landscaped garden showers. In addition, each detached master has its wet minibar with a refrigerator and coffee maker, private terrace, and loggia with twin hammocks. The Palm Bungalow Master side also has a private outdoor Jacuzzi on the patio.

Villa amenities include a 50-foot vast infinity pool and a 12-person 360° infinity-edge jacuzzi with a magnificent view of the Arenal Volcano. The property also features a recreational area including a 9-hole putting green, basketball court, Bocce court, table tennis, darts, and an extensive organic farm maze.
