On-Site Hot Springs
The fresh mineral water is pumped from a nearby river. Each pool is designed to blend seamlessly with the surroundings, and several have small details like human-made waterfalls where you can sit and let the water relax your shoulders.
Las Lagunas has terraces and 12 pools with views of Arenal Volcano. There is also a swim-up bar.
The Perdido Springs are seven pools hidden between the vegetation, connected by trails. The Perdido Springs is the section that has the monkey waterslide, so make sure to visit; the kids especially will love it.
The hot springs at Club Rio are located near the river that crosses the property, providing canyon and rainforest views.
Club Rio: On-site Adventure Center & Wildlife Reserve
Club del Rio has many activities you can enjoy, including kayaking, river tubing, horseback riding, hiking trails, nature tours, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, and the hot springs.
One of the main attractions is the resort’s Wildlife Reserve. Both kids and grown-ups alike can admire Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity up close. The rescued residents are pumas, ocelots, jaguarundis, capuchin monkeys, squirrel monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, wild turkeys, and more.

Falcon’s Nest Villa Details
The views from the living area are pointed directly to the volcano over a sun terrace a heated Lagoon-style infinity-edge pool and a waterfall. Embedded infinity-edge overflow Jacuzzi is the centerpiece of the patio. Two outdoor loggias are set on the side, featuring a dining table for six on one and a comfortable seating area on the other. The living area is also equipped with an LCD TV and a surround sound system with mobile compatibility.
The Falcon’s Nest has five bedrooms and six full bathrooms. One side features a suite with a king bed on the first level with a private bath and a mezzanine bedroom above with a king bed and two sofa beds and its private bath.
The other side has a king bed on the first floor and a king bed on the second floor with an additional two single beds and its private bath on both levels. There is an extra bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath on the first floor.
The buildings on either side are dual master bedrooms complete with luxurious marbled master baths with Jacuzzi tubs, oversized indoor showers, and outdoor landscaped garden showers. Each detached master has its wet minibar with a refrigerator and coffee maker, private terrace, and loggia with twin hammocks.
