This is the ultimate two-week holiday in Costa Rica for those looking to explore two of the country’s most-visited destinations. You will not only visit Manuel Antonio and Arenal, but discover a more remote region, the Osa Peninsula.
Arenal: Adventure Paradise
After spending the night in San Jose, you will officially start your trip in Arenal, also known as the adventure capital of Costa Rica. You will be staying at the luxurious Arenal Nayara Hotel & Gardens, voted one of the best hotels in the world.
The excitement begins on your first tour. You’ll explore hanging bridges and over 2 miles of zip lines– high above the lush, green canopy. Spend your final day taking a tour of the Arenal Volcano aboard an ATV.
Manuel Antonio: Relax by the Beach
Next up is the incredibly popular Manuel Antonio. You will spend the next 5 days in your own private tropical villa at the Buena Vista Villas. You’ll go on a guided tour of the stunning Manuel Antonio National Park and enjoy some rare wildlife. At this park, you can also take a swim at the exclusive, untouched beaches and explore what the area has to offer.
Osa Peninsula: Untouched Natural Beauty
Your final destination will take you to the remote Osa Peninsula. You will spend four nights at Lapa Rios, one of the country’s premier ecolodges, where you can explore over 1,000 acres of private rainforest and beach. Take the time to go on one of the hotel’s complimentary guided tours. These range from starfish walks along to beach to descending deep into the resort’s pristine rainforest.
End your grand tour of Costa Rica with a night at one of the Central Valley’s most stunning hotels, the Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn. Located just 20 minutes from the San Jose Airport, this hotel is the perfect spot to relax after all of the adventure.
After your ultimate two-week holiday in Costa Rica, it’s time to head home.
