Begin your journey up in the mountains of San Ramon where you will wander enchanting paths weaved through the mysterious cloud forests. Enjoy your stay in the rustic charm of Villa Blanca where you can enjoy a fireside drink on a cold night.
From the cooler climes of the cloud forest you will then travel to the warm beaches of Manuel Antonio. Here the first true rainforests in Costa Rica begin and you will see totally different animals. Enjoy the amazing pristine beaches and exuberant locals who line the roads selling souvenirs.
Finally, travel to the Osa Peninsula and see why National Geographic called it “the most biologically intense place on Earth!”

DAY BY DAY
Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica!
Begin your Jungle Journey as you arrive in San José where one of our representatives will meet you and show you to your private transfer. From there, travel to the cloud forest of San Ramón, where you will stay at the rustic-style Villa Blanca.
Day 2: Relax at the villa
Enjoy your stay at Villa Blanca. Go birdwatching and see how many of the 258 local species you can see, including some quite rare and endangered birds that find sanctuary on the protected property. A knowledge and bilingual guide will point out what you might miss on your own. Spend the rest of the day exploring the hiking paths, relaxing by the fireplace in your room, enjoying a delightful meal at their gourmet restaurant, or watching a movie in the private theater.
Day 3: On to Manuel Antonio
A private transfer will take you to Manuel Antonio, where you will be staying at Si Como No.

Day 4: Visit the national park
Visit Manuel Antonio National Park. An experienced nature guide will take you on an informative hike through the park and provide information on the history, flora and fauna of this natural paradise. With luck, the troops of monkeys that live in the area will make an appearance!

Day 5: ATV adventure
Hop on an ATV to experience the primary rainforest like you’ve never seen it before with lush vegetation, breathtaking mountain views, and exotic animals. Take a break from the ATVs as your guide leads you on a short hike to spot some harder-to-see creatures and go for a dip in the natural pools before heading back for a Costa Rican meal.

Day 6: Manuel Antonio to the Osa Peninsula
A private transfer will take you to the Osa Peninsula. There you will stay at the wonderful Aguila de Osa Inn. Getting there is half the adventure, with an exhilarating boat ride filled with stunning views of the peninsula.

Days 7 & 8: Enjoy the jungle and beach
Make the most out of your stay at Aguila de Osa. Enjoy visiting Corcovado National Park and the stunning Caño Island. This is one of the most vibrant biological destinations on Earth!

Day 9: Head home
Fly back to San José, where you will catch your flight back home.
