Hotel Deals

Hotels of Every Type and for Every Budget

Costa Rica is on the world map not only for its nature and adventure offerings but also for its luxurious hotels. There are large resorts and unique jungle lodges. There are eco-friendly hotels, family-oriented ones, and hotels for specific niches, like surfers, fishermen, etc. Whether you are hoping to stay at a boutique or an all-inclusive resort, Costa Rica has it.

Costa Rica has hotels to fit any budget, still, most people want the best possible deal for what they pay. Even if a hotel were 50% off, who wouldn’t ask if it could be 75% or 51% off, right? While those deals are unrealistic, Costa Rica does often have impressive discounts you can make use of.

What Goes into Discounts?

Some factors that go into Costa Rica hotel deals are the season of the year, the occupancy rate, and the strategy of the individual hotel.

Too Good to Be True?

If you see a deal that sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Stick with the hotels we recommend so you know you’re headed to a reputable place you will truly enjoy.

Costa Rica Best Deals and Discounts

One of the first questions most people ask us is, “What discounts are available?” Everyone hopes to find affordable Costa Rica hotels, and who could blame them. Not to worry, there are always Costa Rica hotel deals, of one type or another. For instance, you might find a discount where you pay for a certain number of nights and get an extra night free. Best Times for Costa Rica Hotel Deals

Hotel discounts and promotions are more common during the Green Season, also called low season or rainy season, which is from May to October. For example, it is popular to offer promotions like Stay Four Nights, Pay Three. If you are able to travel in May and June, you are likely to find the best deals. You may encounter a bit of rain, but you will definitely have a unique, exciting time and get to see the jungle during the greenest part of the year. Some might even ask, why visit a rainforest when it’s not the rainy season? The rain brings out the best of the greenery and the creatures that inhabit the rainforest. Bring some boots and a poncho, and definitely your camera.

Most Expensive Months in Costa Rica
