A World Renowned Sport Fishing Hotspot

Located between one world class marina just north of town at Los Sueños in Playa Herradura and another about an hour south in Quepos, Jaco is perfectly placed as a record-breaking sport fishing hotspot in Central America. How many days do you need in Jaco?

Most visitors stay about three days in Jaco after visiting the Arenal Volcano or before heading further south. If you’re a serious angler, and sport fishing is all you do, consider staying longer in this area.
