Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Arrive at the San José International Airport with your family, where one of our representatives is waiting to guide you through customs and towards a private transfer.
The van takes you into Costa Rica’s countryside and onto the Arenal Volcano area. Check in at Casa Luna, and prepare for the adventures that start the very next day.
Stay at Casa Luna Hotel & Spa
Day 2: Canyoning & Rafting
Head to the mountains where you gear up and follow the river’s course as you descend four waterfalls, each one bigger than the last. The final descent is 200-feet long, so then there’s a 10-minute hike back up. Take some time to rest (and snack) and then it’s time to enjoy the rafts.
Good for both beginners and pros, this ride goes through level II-III rapids and provides nice scenery along the way. Keep our eyes open for the flora and fauna that populate the riverbank. Then return to your hotel to rest after this much exercise!

Day 3: Hanging Bridges & Hot Springs
One of Arenal’s most famous attractions is a private reserve with hanging bridges. Follow trails that enter the rainforest to admire the lush vegetation. Go up and down the canyons, and cross bridges that let you walk side by side or above the forest canopy. Take as many photos as you can, and try to spot the faraway volcano as you walk.
Then get a taxi and spend the afternoon in one of La Fortuna’s most luxurious hot springs. Tabacon has several pools fed by natural hot springs.
Relax in the thermal water, soothe any sore muscles from the hike, and rejuvenate your skin with the mineral properties of the pools. Then enjoy dinner at the resort’s on-site restaurant before heading back.

Day 4: Travel to Manuel Antonio
Leave the mountains behind and jump on another van in search of the beach. Manuel Antonio is known for having both a stunning coastline and lush vegetation, and you can enjoy plenty of both at La Mansion Inn.

Day 5: Expansive Views of the Pacific
La Mansion Inn is set atop a hill in Manuel Antonio, providing 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, the rainforest, and the town. Every room has a unique personality and atmosphere, creating a peaceful and varied effect.
Sunbathe poolside and take the view in. After so many days in motion, this is the perfect way to relax.

Day 6: Visit Manuel Antonio National Park
Head out to see one of Costa Rica’s most iconic—and smallest—national parks. The trails take you from the mangroves to the tropical forest to the beach. Wildlife and trees abound, and there’s chance to see sloths, toucans, capuchin monkeys, lizards, and more.
The beach is ideal if you want to stop and rest for a while, and there are many photo opps at every corner!

Day 7: Explore the Area
This is the last day of your vacation, so use it to do what you want the most. Take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary shuttle to the nearest beach, or visit the town to buy souvenirs and try the local food scene. If you prefer even more adventure, this is the time to book another tour.

Day 8: Go Back Home
Take a final van transfer back to the San José International Airport and to your flight back home. It’s time to say goodbye to Costa Rica, but with family memories that will last a lifetime!
