A Family-Friendly Introduction to Paradise Day 1: Arrive to the San Jose International Airport where a private shuttle will pick you up and take you to the Arenal Manoa Hotel at the foot of the Arenal volcano. You will have a magnificent view of the active volcano from the comfort of your own room. Explore the hotel"s gardens and working farm or enjoy a dip in the pool for your first relaxing evening in Costa Rica.Day 2-3: Experience Arenal in two excitingly different ways. First, take a hike around the base of the volcano; walk over cooled lava fields and take a guided tour of the tropical forest before immersing yourself in the natural hot springs and dinner at Tabacon Resort. The next day you will see the region from a bird"s eye view as you soar through the forest canopy and take in the landscapes of Arenal Lake.Day 4: Enjoy a delicious breakfast and transfer to Tamarindo, a relaxing beach hot spot on the Northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
