DAY BY DAY
Day 1—Begin your Jungle Journey as you arrive in San Jose where one of our representatives will meet you and show you to your private transfer. From there travel to the cloud forest of San Ramon, where you will stay at the rustic-style Villa Blanca.
Day 2—Enjoy your stay at Villa Blanca. Go birdwatching and see how many of the 258 local species you can see, including some quite rare and endangered birds that find sanctuary on the protected property. A knowledge and bilingual guide will point out what you might miss on your own. Spend the rest of the day exploring the hiking paths, relaxing by the fireplace in your room, enjoying a delightful meal at their gourmet restaurant or watching a movie in the private theater.
Day 3—A private transfer will take you to Manuel Antonio, where you will be staying at Si Como No.
Day 4—Visit Manuel Antonio National Park. An experienced nature guide will take you on an informative hike through the park and provide information on the history, flora and fauna of this natural paradise. With luck, the troops of monkeys that live in the area will make an appearance!
Day 5—Hop on an ATV to experience the primary rainforest like you’ve never seen it before with lush vegetation, breathtaking mountain views, and exotic animals. Take a break from the ATVs as your guide leads you on a short hike to spot some harder to see creatures and go for a dip in the natural pools before heading back for a Costa Rican meal.
Day 6—A private transfer will take you to the Osa Peninsula. There you will stay at the wonderful Aguila de Osa Inn.
Day 7 & 8—Make the most out of your stay at Aguila de Osa. Enjoy visiting Corcovado National Park and the stunning Caño Island. This is one of the most vibrant biological destinations on Earth!
Day 9—Fly back to San Jose, where you will catch your flight back home.
