Combo tour #1: canopy tour, tubing, horseback riding and visit to hots springs

Start with a canopy tour, which takes you into a steep canyon over a turbulent river, to zip line, rappel and rock climb, cross hanging bridges and ride Tarzan swings! Plus, you’ll enjoy seeing a wide variety of vegetation and wildlife. It features 12 zip line cables, 24 platforms, 2 climbing walls, a hanging bridge, “via ferrata” (cable) rappel and Tarzan swings.

Now’s the time for tubing adventure! It starts at the foot of the Victoria waterfall, where you’ll have a short briefing about security. Enjoy bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting “tube”. Enjoy a horseback ride along the scenic trail through the forest passing a waterfall and stopping for a short break before heading on to the thermal hot springs and volcanic mud baths. Hot springs feature seven pools with thermal waters heated naturally by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.

Combo tour #2: canopy, tubing, hot springs and mud bath

This combination start the same as the first combo, with exciting canopy and tubing tour, but excludes horseback riding. After the tubing you go straight to hot springs and it additionally includes visit to the mud baths. Try out the mud pools, smoothing volcanic clay mud over yourself like a spa “masque” and later wash it off with warm or cold river water.

Combo tour #3: hiking to ‘Pailas’, Oropendola waterfall, tubing, Symbiosis Spa

Begin your Guachipelin adventure with a 2 mile hike taking in the beautiful landscape and vegetation and observing the bubbling mud pots and geisers. Along the way you can meet spider monkeys, raccoons, coati, blue-crowned motmot and emerald toucanets. You’ll see small waterfalls, rapids, volcanic mud pools, hot springs and ‘fumaroles’ until you reach the stunning Oropendula waterfall! This emerald green waterfall is 82 ft high and is located in a canyon and surrounded by lush vegetation.

Enjoy a dip in the natural pool below the waterfall before beginning your tubing adventure along rushing waters. Then head to the spa for a well deserved pamper in the thermal hot springs and volcanic mud baths! The hot springs and mud baths are known for their natural healing properties. The volcano mud is full of minerals and enzymes and exfoliates, detoxes and tones the skin leaving you feeling soft and refreshed! Then a dip in the thermal hot springs gives you a chance to soothe any aches and pains and relax in the surrounding natural beauty!

Each Combo includes a traditional Costa Rican lunch at the Haciendas restaurant.
