You’ll find natural hot springs sprinkled around the country; if you have an adventurous spirit, you’ll probably even happen upon unadvertised springs in surprising places. In fact, many hotels have private hot springs located on their grounds, especially in the Arenal Volcano area.
Terrified of heights, but will do zip lines and waterfall rappelling, so you can, too!
I love yoga, cooking and eating all food, reading, and hiking.
Don't think about what you have to do when you get home. Live in the moment, go with the flow and allow the magic to unfold.
Exceptional trip. Tara planned a perfect trip. From hotels to adventures, it was perfect. The people were as amazing as their country. I'm looking forward to returning to Costa Rica for another dose of Pura Vida. And of course, it will be booked through Costa Rican Vacations.

When we got to Arenas del Mar, it was simply amazing. We are convinced we had the best room on the property (403A – if we go back there, we want that exact room, so make a note in your file on us! J). The resort, the people, the setting were fabulous. Honestly, I knew Nayara would be good, but I was a little nervous…could it be as good as our first place?Of course, it was. Nayara really is a special place. The attention to detail is amazing. The room had rose petals and a card wishing us happy 30th. We were lucky to have great views of the volcano and we spent a day by the pool and I could hardly take my eyes off the volcano. Great dining opportunities. We really planned to go into town, but just couldn’t pull ourselves away from the resort. So then I began to really worry….would Peace Lodge not live up?But again, you nailed it. The room was just amazing, the staff was awesome and again, the vistas, were like a dream. One morning, we went out on one of the “side trails” and had it completely to ourselves. It was perfect.Tara, honestly, you should be very, very proud. I know, when my son booked with you, they wanted the zip-lining, white-water rafting, etc that young people like. And you built them the perfect trip. So when we booked, I was worried that you wouldn’t “get us” and would send us off on adventures we didn’t want…but, nope, you gave us the perfect trip as well. We really appreciate your efforts on our behalf!
