La Paloma Lodge is located at the luscious and remote Drake Bay, on the Osa Peninsula. The stylish nature-oriented eco-lodge sits atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Cool waters of Agujitas River and secluded black-sand beaches are short walk away.

Fabulous Oasis in the Jungle

This intimate eco-lodge has excellent accommodations, location and service, and good food. Family style dinners (several large tables) promote a relaxed social environment during the evening—guests from all over the world with diversity of interests will just add an extra layer to the already rich experience.

Simplicity and comfort in the rainforest

The lodge is comprised of seven one- or two-storied bungalows (ranchos) and four rooms. Each one of them has a balcony with a hammock, and private bathrooms with hot water. Amenities include: air-conditioning, ceiling fans, orthopedic beds with luxurious sheets, in-room safe, filtered water carafes, to name a few.

With open air concept screens you can enjoy the richness and splendor of a pristine tropical jungle right from your room!

Hotel amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi in the clubhouse, at times with limited reception. Remoteness of the lodge has its advantages!

Small pool at the club house offers great jungle views, and is perfect to cool off after a long hike or spend time relaxing and watching the sunset.

Meal-plan Included in Your Stay

La Paloma offers continental and a la carte breakfast options, healthy lunches, an afternoon snack, and 4-course dinners. All meals are included and served family-style in the clubhouse. Menu consists of fresh fish, shrimp, chicken, beef, plenty of fresh fruit, and their delicious homemade bread. Vegetarian meals are available upon request. Any other dietary needs are just need to be communicated in advance. Alcohol drinks are not included, but you can enjoy freshly prepared juices, we recommend try out passion fruit!

A certified massage therapist is available on-demand. You can enjoy deep tissue or Swedish massage in the comfort of your room.

Explore the Wild Side of the Tropical Paradise

Guided excursions are available to book on-site. Two tours of your choosing are compliment ray. We recommend visiting Caño Island and Corcovado National Park. These are signature sites of Osa region, and an unforgettable experience of the nature. Other tours include: horseback riding, hiking, birding, canopy, kayaking, diving, fishing, or whale watching.

Howler and Capuchin monkeys, sloths, a boa constrictor, a coati, toucans and scarlet macaws, lizards and bats and loads of hummingbirds are just some of the wonderful creatures, which call La Paloma home.
