Costa Rica Wildlife and Nature Honeymoon
This package offers an opportunity to see the wildlife and rainforest that Costa Rica has to offer in a romantic setting. Starting from £2,100 per person (DBL occupancy) San Jose/Tortuguero/Monteverde/Arenal/Tamarindo
Day 1: Fly to the San Jose International airport (SJO). As soon as you step off the aircraft you will be met by one of our representatives, where your itinerary will be explained and any questions you have will be answered. The representative will provide you with a pouch that contains vouchers and information about your trip. From the airport you will be privately transported to Hotel Grano de Oro of Costa Rica’s 5 small distinctive hotels. The hotel is situated in a quiet street of central San Jose just of the main avenue, Ciudad Colon. Grano de Oro is a victorian styles colonial hotel offering some of Costa Rica’s finest dining. Grano de Oro is a great first night on that altogether special honeymoon.
Day 2: You will arise early and board the bus that will take you up into the mountains and through national parks until you reach Cano Negro. Here you will board a canal boat where you will miranda through the canal ways until you reach your final destination, Tortuguero National Park. You will stay at the Pachira Lodge, one of Tortuguero’s most famous Lodges. 
Day 3: Enjoy nature its best as you undertake a journey through the canals at dawn, and take your best short of a real Caribbean sunrise. Discover Costa Rican flavours as you enjoy breakfast at PACHIRA LODGE. Get ready to hike Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. Take your time to enjoy our private trails, ride a boat through the canals or just relax. Walk on the beach at night and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September). Here you will see the annual egg laying of these endangered animals. many conservation projects help these animals in the Tortuguero areas.
Day 4 : Toady you will take the boat back to Cano Negro and be dropped off at Siquirres. From Siquirres you will climb higher into the mountains until you reach Central America’s most active Volcano, Arenal. Stay at the Lost Iguana.
Day 5: Wake up and spend the morning admiring the impressive Volcano Arenal. Get ready to explore all that Arenal has to offer: Take an Arenal Observation Hike Tour of the volcano in the afternoon with a guide who will point animals and plants of interest, finish the guided tour reaching a vantage point over the volcano where you are able to watch the lava flow. From here you will be taken the to the impressive Tabacon hot springs to relax and soothe those hiked muscles. Stay at Lost Iguana which offers guests Jacuzzi’s with direct Volcano views. The hotels itself is one of Arenal’s newest and offers superior service and very comfortable rooms in a rustic environment.
Day 6 : Arenal has so much to offer but is also a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Volcano Arenal is one of Central America’s most active and often you can here it rumble and spurt lava from the crater. Stay at Lost Iguana.
Day 7:Take a 4×4 and boat transfer across Lake Arenal to Monteverde, famous for the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Stay at Hotel Fonda Vela. The area of Monteverde is most famous for the Monteverde Cloud Rainforest and the Santa Elena reserve that surround the area. Fonda Vela is situated with the rainforest surrounding it and offers guests a rustic stay in the rainforest.
Day 8: Monteverde is one of few rainforests in the clouds and offers a very rustic stay. The cloud forest itself is very damp which allows other types of animals and plants to live here. One of the great things about Costa Rica is that where ever you go the rainforest will always offer something different!!! You may be lucky enough to see the Quetzal that people travel from all over the world to see. In the afternoon you will take on Costa Rica’s most adrenaline pumped Canopy Tour, a must do while in Costa Rica. This tour is with Aventura Canopy and offers safety and adrenaline. The longest zip line is 650m long and goes over the rainforest below!! This is an experience not to be missed.
Day 9: Take a private transfer to the intimate and luxrious hotel known as Latitude 10 . The hotel is situated within the rainforest but on the beach. Each room is surrounded by rainforest and tropical gardens, yet is only 50m from the white sanded beaches of Mal Pais. This hotel will offer you everything that you are looking for in that special beach hotel!!!
Day 10- 13: Explore the area of Mal Pais and Santa Teresa as these areas offer some of the best white sanded beaches in Costa Rica, the sunsets are divine. There are lots of tours in the area to keep you active but if you want to relax the clubhouse and pool will keep you company!!
Day 14: Time to leave Paradise and start your journey back home. You will be transported back to San Jose to spend your last night in were it all started at Grano de Oro. Relax on your last night in paradise.
Day 15: Privately transfer to San Jose international airport and have a safe flight home.
