24-Hour Emergency Assistance Services
CSA”s comprehensive Emergency Assistance Services are included with each policy. The services include advice, medical and legal referral, emergency cash transfer, lost or stolen items assistance, traveling companion assistance, replacement of medication and eyeglasses, worldwide medical information, interpretation/translation, emergency message relay, pet return, and vehicle return.
Trip Cancellation
Provides reimbursement for certain unused, non-refundable expenses due to the cancellation of your trip caused by a covered reason.
Trip Interruption
Provides reimbursement for certain unused, non-refundable expenses and additional transportation costs due to interruption of your trip caused by a covered reason.
Travel Delay
Provides coverage if you are delayed during a trip for more than 6 hours due to a covered reason.
Baggage and Personal Effects
Provides coverage for Baggage or other personal effects that are lost, damaged or stolen while on your trip. This coverage is secondary to any coverage provided by a Common Carrier.
Baggage Delay
Provides coverage for the emergency purchase of essential items if your Baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours.
Medical or Dental Expense
Provides coverage for necessary medical, surgical, and emergency dental care costs if you become sick or are accidentally injured while on a trip.
Accidental Death
Provides coverage for loss of life in the event of an accident while traveling, or within 180 days after the accident due to the direct result of that accident.
Emergency Assistance (Emergency Medical Transportation)
If you become sick or injured on your trip, Emergency Assistance will provide benefits such as:
- Arrange transportation to the nearest suitable medical facility;
- Provide you with assistance to return Home;
- Provide round-trip economy airfare to send someone of your choice to be with you if you are traveling alone and are in the hospital for more than 10 days;
- Return your children home with an escort if you are traveling with them and they are left unattended.
Air Flight Accident
Provides coverage for loss of life or limbs in the event of an accident while traveling as a ticketed passenger on a certified passenger aircraft provided by a regularly-scheduled airline.
