This adventure tour will take you through deep jungle foliage and on most trips, rafters will observe egrets, osprey, toucans, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected area of the primary tropical rain forest. After a steady 13 mile trip down the river, we wind our way back to the little village of “Silencio” where a welcoming hot lunch (Tico style) and local refreshments are waiting.
The tour includes transportation, breakfast and lunch, bilingual guides, snacks, and drinks. Approx. transfer time to tour is 45 minutes, you will then spend 6 hours on the river, making the total tour, including lunch, approx. 10 hours.
What to bring: Water sandals or water shoes, bathing suit, sunscreen, bug spray, towel, t-shirt, and a hat.
