I've stayed at Hotel Parador several times already, and have always enjoyed my time there. The hotel has wonderful accommodations with very affordable prices during the Costa Rican Green Season - you can even find a room there that accommodates 4 for less than $200 a night including a full American breakfast.
If you are looking for ocean view rooms, try the Premium units which overlook the Pacific Ocean and have a nice view of all the Manuel Antonio area. If you still want a view, but prefer to pay less, you can get a superior room instead, and if you want to save some money, the garden units are still very good options.
All rooms are equipped with mini-bars, cable TV, private bathrooms with tubs and hot water, hair dryer, and many other room amenities.
The hotel is ideal for families traveling with children. There are two swimming pools - one for adults only. Children usually enjoy the swimming pool area a lot, and when they are tired, they can just go to the room to enjoy a nap right after lunch or after a nice swim.
The hotel also has a small gym, a nice bar and one of the best restaurants in Manuel Antonio. The driving time to the National Park is only 10 minutes, and the hotel offers free shuttle transportation to/ from the beach and park areas several times a day.
I really like this property, and would recommend it a lot for couples and families as well.
