La Mansion in Manuel Antonio has gorgeous rooms, great views and excellent food. With that said, the decorations and hotel layout is quite eccentric and I don't think right for everyone. From the mini bat cave bar, murals, paintings of everything from horses to naked women, religious statues and artwork, the hotel has a vibe all its own. The pool area is very nice and each room has its own deck with lounge chairs, views from the rooms overlook the national park. I would recommend this hotel for travelers with a sense of adventure and light-hearted attitude.

La Mansion is an interesting hotel. It is a maze of hallways and stairways, small cozy spaces and expansive views, a little bit old and a little bit new. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who does not walk and climb stairs well. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed but could use some updates here and there. The pool is small and also could use an update but it does have a good pool bar. I think the real draw for La Mansion is excellent dining and service and a very good location. Most of the rooms have a nice ocean view and the new look out bar and platform has an amazing view of Manuel Antonio Park and Quepos.
