Panama has nearly 35 domestic airports or landing strips located throughout the country and offering easy, safe access to even the most remote parts of the country. A surprising 6 of these are located within the Darien jungle from biological stations to more popular destinations like Piñas Bay. At least 12 of the airstrips are located on islands, making the country a great destination for anyone desiring a truly tropical island getaway.
