boutique hotel is famous for its hospitality and fine cuisine.
Run by 3 generations of the Elliot-Collins family, the Hotel Panamonte is unique in its harmonious blend of European tradition
and Latin American flavor.
 This
charming hotel was founded in 1928 and renowned for its gourmet
restaurant. The ambience is very much like a European B&B
with
stunning
gardens and charming details that make the accommodations warm and
inviting.
The elegant fireside bar & lounge
features a large, open entrance with an outdoor annex. This
outdoor area also has a fireplace and seating. Famous Panamanians
come here to escape and enjoy a cocktail in privacy.
Rooms are decorated in consistent European B&B flavor, with
many original 1900's photos and prints. Flowered bed coverings and
blue pastels complete the country feel. One could easily be
convinced they're in hills of Switzerland, a fascinating
juxtaposition to Panama's warmer climes.
