Panama Canal Adventure

Journey Through this Historic Route that Millions Have Coveted

A trip through the former Canal Zone, we begin by traveling to the Amador Causeway, a one-way road connecting four islands made from rock extracted during the excavations of the Panama Canal’s original construction. Observe ships entering/leaving this Pacific via to the Panama Canal and then head over to the Panama Canal Administrative Building. Journey parallel to the Panama Canal Railway, the once vital route for the California Gold Rush, and pass by the former military bases of Albrook Airfield and Fort Clayton before arriving to the first set of locks of the Panama Canal: Miraflores Locks. Vessels transit through this engineering marvel with impressive speed before your vert eyes as your guide amazes you with their facts and figures. Head north along the Chagres River to pass Pedro Miguel Locks, the smallest of all three of the Panama Canal’s locks and in the middle of the Soberania National Park’s 55,000 acres. We then take a boat ride through the Panama Canal and dine a boxed lunch in the middle of this beautiful theater of life.
