Contadora Island
Where is Contadora located?
The famous island of Contadora is located 37 kilometers (23 mi) from Panama City. This island is part of the Las Perlas Archipelago (Pearl islands) in the Gulf of Panama in the Pacific Ocean.
How to get there?
You can get to Contadora Island by plane (15 minute flight) from Panama City or by yacht (two hours).
Services?
There is a resort hotel on the beach covering 1.21 square kilometers (300 acres). Restaurants, rental of diving equipment, boat rentals and tourist guide services.
What to do and Where to go?
The beautiful beaches on Contadora Island are all in walking distance from the main hotel. Apart from that you can go by boat or jet ski to some nearby beaches of other islands and enjoy the tranquility and privacy of the environment. Also, you can practice water sports such as fishing and diving and at the same time enjoy a relaxing sunset scenery, the sea and the beaches.
