Day 1 - Welcome to Panama! One of our representatives will meet you at the airport. From there, you will be transported to the stunning Gamboa Rainforest Resort. This hotel in the heart of the jungle is the perfect marriage of nature and mankind. Amenities include handsomely furnished rooms, stunning views of the rainforest and the hotel offers tons of activities for you and your family to do. You can visit the orchid nursery, butterfly house or the reptile sanctuary in the hotel. Be sure to check out their fantastic restaurant where you all will enjoy a delicious meal as you take in the beauty of the surroundings.
Day 2 - Today you will embark on an unforgettable experience as you take a tour of an Embera community. You will feel you travel back in time as you reach your destination by way of a dugout canoe (done in the style the Indians have been using for centuries). During this visit the Embera people will teach you about their culture which includes mystical healing rituals and herbal cures. You can have your body painted with an exotic fruit and you will savour their traditional dishes. After the tour, head back to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort for a night of relaxing sleep.
Day 3 - Your own private transfer will take you to the Albrook airport, where you will take a short flight over to Bocas del Toro. Here you will stay at the Playa Tortuga Hotel and Beach Resort. This stunning beach front resort has countless amenities including a magnificent pool and several dining options. Take a dip in the warm Bocas' sea or lounge in the hotel.
Day 4 - Today you will go on an exciting Wildlife and Snorkeling Adventure. This is a privately guided, full day boat trip. Visit the dolphins in Dolphin Bay or Laguna Bocatorito, then do some snorkeling at Coral Cay. Continue your tour towards Isla Zapatillas National Park where you can enjoy this incredible beach. Guide, transportation, and snorkeling gear included. After a long day of adventure head back to Playa Tortuga Hotel and Beach Resort for some rest.
Day 5 - Use this day to set out on your own adventure in Bocas. Head into town and visit the little shops and restaurants. Feel free to ask the Playa Tortuga staff about places to visit and things to do. Nothing like insider tips! After a whole day of fun, return to the hotel for one final night in Bocas.
Day 6 - Take a short flight from Bocas del Toro to Panama City. Here you will stay at the Deville Hotel, a stunning boutique hotel in the heart of Panama's financial district. Its exclusive locale makes it a perfect spot from where to take advantage of Panama City's best qualities. Take a walk in the neaghborhood and visit the countless restaurants in the area, or relax in the hotel lounge.
Day 7 - Get ready for an exciting tour of Casco Antiguo and the Panama Canal. Visit Cosmopolitan Panama City, the International Banking center area, Casco Antiguo (Colonial City), Amador Causeway (Pacific entrance to the Canal), Las Americas Bridge, Panama Canal (Miraflores Locks) & The Old Panama (Monumental Historic Complex of the first Spanish city founded on the Pacific coast of the Americas). You will be joined by an expert guide who will give you all the tidbits about Panama's rich culture and history. Then head back to Deville Hotel for a night of rest.
Day 8 - Your fabulous vacation has reached its end. Today a private transfer will take you to the airport where you will board your flight back home. We expect to see you next Christmas though!  |
