Day 1: Welcome to Panama City! You will be greeted at the airport by one of our representatives, who will assist you in picking up your rental car to begin your real estate exploration vacation. Drive to the Country Inn Amador on the Amador Causeway where you will enjoy your first night. Located at the pacific entrance of the Panama Canal, this cozy 119-room hotel features a pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and included breakfast as well as balcony views of the gardens or the Bridge of the Americas.
Day 2: Drive west to the Anton Valley where you will find the Los Mandarinos Hotel & Spa, a cozy set of Tuscan villas and restaurant that offers gourmet dishes and a magnificent view of the lush surroundings. Spend your evening relaxing at this lovely boutique hotel while you prepare for your real estate tour the next day.
Day 3: Prior to your arrival, an expert real estate consultant will contact you to discuss your interests so they can customize your tour. On this day, that consultant will pick you up at your hotel to take you on your Private El Valle Anton Real Estate Tour. Your guide will tell you about the basics of investing in Panama and answer any questions you may have along the way regarding banking, loans, retirement & residency laws, taxes and other regulations regarding real estate transactions. You will stop for lunch or snacks (not included) at your leisure during the tour. You will look forward to your comfortable room at Los Mandarinos after this information-filled day!
Day 4: After a good night's sleep, you will drive northwest (approximately 4 hours) to the beautiful mountain town of Boquete. Your hotel, Los Establos, is located 4,000 feet above sea level in the flanks of the Baru Volcano. This relaxing boutique bed and breakfast sits on 12 acres of an estate-quality coffee plantation. The magnificent views of the “pueblo” below and the majestic Baru Volcano will take your breath away. A welcome cocktail and breakfast are included in your stay.
Day 5: Prepare for another day of exploration and real estate treasures on your Private Boquete Highlands Real Estate Tour. A local real estate consultant will be your guide. During the tour, you will visit several projects designed specifically for investors and retirees, as well as some large acreages, lots for building homes and existing houses.
Depending on the needs you specify, you will travel to the areas our consultant believes will be of most interest to you. Boquete is extremely popular with many foreign retirees and we will show you the way they live to give you a full picture of life as a retiree in Panama. You will stop for lunch or snacks (not included) at your leisure during the tour. Enjoy with a cocktail and relaxing dinner when you return to Los Establos.
Day 6: Enjoy today as a free day exploring on your own in your rental car. You may want to take the day off, enjoy a coffee tour or perhaps re-visit a property of interest from your real estate tour.
Day 7: Time to return to Panama City. Drive down the mountain to the city of David, drop off your rental car, and fly back to Panama City on a twin-engine aircraft. Take in the scenery while flying above Panama's beautiful landscape. A private ground transfer will take you to the Country Inn Amador where you will spend your last night. Experience one of the many restaurants on the Amador Boardwalk for dinner, or simply relax at the hotel.
Day 8: Your real estate exploration has come to an end. Our air-conditioned private minibus transfer will make sure you get to the Tocumen International Airport in plenty of time for your flight home. Perhaps your next trip will be to call Panama home!
