Day 1 : Our representative will meet you at the Tocumen International Airport to ensure a comfortable arrival and provide you with your travel information packet.  You will then be transferred in a private, air conditioned microbus to the Gamboa National Park where you will enjoy a three night stay at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort in a lovely room with a king-sized bed.  Get a good night's rest, you've got an early morning of birding ahead.

Day 2 : Rise and shine! Our guide will pick you up early in the morning to begin your bird watching tour along the infamous Pipeline Road. If you are a birder and you haven't been to Panama, you don't know what you're missing. Panama boasts 954 bird species, more than the US and Canada combined. Further making Panama a birders dream-come-true is the easy access to most of the bird-rich locations. Includes: Transportation, Expert Bilingual Naturalist Guide, Box Lunch, Bottled Water, Entrance Fees and Birding Check list. What to bring: Dress in light weight sportswear with sport shoes or light hiking boots. Expect to get wet during the green season. Bring your own Binoculars, towel, small backpack, change of cloths, sun block and sunglasses. Duration: 8 hours approx.

Day 3 : One of our guides will pick you up in the morning to take you Northeast of Panama City to the Chagres National Park.  Once you arrive you will ride in a dugout canoe called a "piragua" along the Chagres River with a native Embera Indian to their village about 15 minutes upstream of where you will be. When you arrive to the village you will be introduced to their cultural traditions. You will see their hand crafts and botanical skills, and will enjoy their native food. What to bring: Dress in light weight sportswear with sport shoes or sandals like Keens. Bring your own towel, small backpack, change of cloths, sun block and sunglasses. This tour includes: Ground and Boat Transfers, Emberá Lunch (Fish & Plantains), Bottled Water, Park Entrance, Bilingual Guide. Duration: 8 hours app

Day 4 : This morning you will be picked up and taken via private transfer to the domestic airport in Panama City known as Albrook Airport.  You'll make the one hour flight Northwest to Panama's second largest city, David.  You will be met by one of our representatives at the airport and taken via private transfer about 30 minutes up the road to the mountain town of Boquete where you will enjoy a 3 night stay at the Los Establos Inn.

Day 5 : Depart from Boquete early in the morning and head to Sendero de los Quetzales which is one of the most incredible paths in Central America and a great bird watching spot. You will see a varitey of unique bird species along this part of the Los Quetzales trail, including the three wattled Bell bird, Resplendent Quetzal, Wren thrush, Fiery Throated Hummingbird and many others.  Duration approximately 4 hours.

Day 6 : The lush primary forests of Boquete invite you to experience its amazing bio-diversity. Cruise the luxuriant Boquete Mountains; visit one of the oldest coffee farms in Panamá and enjoy your cup of award winning coffee. You will drive by cascading waterfalls, the Quetzales trail, and sheer volcanic cliffs. Boquete is known for its coffee, flowers, and strawberries. During season, we will stop and pick fresh strawberries from a private farm. This adventure also includes a tour through Paradise Garden Wildlife Rescue Sanctuary, where you will see Marguay, Kinkajou, Monkeys, exotic birds and butterflies.

Day 7 : Our driver will transfer you back to the David airport this morning for your flight back to Panama City.  You'll be met by one of our city tour guides at the airport who will show you around both Panama City and the Canal. Visit Cosmopolitan Panama City, the International Banking center area, Casco Antiguo (Colonial City), Amador Causeway (Pacific entrance to the Canal), Las Americas Bridge, Panama Canal (Miraflores Locks). What to bring: Dress in light weight sportswear with sport shoes or sandals like Keens. Bring your camera, Panama hat or ball cap, sun block and sunglasses. This tour includes: transportation, guide, and entrance fees. Duration: 4 hours approx.
When you finish your tour you will be dropped off at your hotel for a one night stay at the lovely Hotel Deville.

Day 8 : Our driver will take you via private transfer back to the international airport for your return flight home.
