Day 1: Arrive at the Panama International Airport to be whisked away by your own private, air conditioned minibus to the Country Inn and Suites Amador, located in an exclusive address in Panama City as it is right on the Panama Canal. Enjoy the scenery of the city along the way as you travel to your hotel. You will enjoy 2 connecting rooms here to provide plenty of space for the family.
Day 2 : Depart from Panama City on your private, full day Panama Canal Adventure tour today. Travel to the Amador Causeway on the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. From here you head to Balboa to the Administration building of the Panama Canal. Travel along the railroad passing by former military bases Albrook Airfield and Fort Clayton before arriving the first set of locks. You will take a fast boat through the Panama Canal and through Gatun Lake. We navigate our way up the waterway passing jungle islands and vessels making their way to Gatun Locks. What to bring: Dress in light weight sportswear with sport shoes or sandals like Keens. Expect to get wet! Duration: 8 hours approx. Return to the Country Inn for the evening.
Day 3 : Depart from Panama City and visit this legendary trail, which was the route used by Henry Morgan to sack Panama City in 1671. Completed around 1550, this is one of the first roads built by the Spanish Conquistadors. The Camino de Cruces lies within Soberania National Park. This tropical rainforest offers excellent opportunities for nature enthusiasts. The area is well known for Howler monkeys, Coati, Collared anteaters, Iguana, and Agouties. Birding is also exceptional. This tour includes: Transfers, Box Lunch, Bottled Water, Park Entrance, and Bilingual Guide. What to bring: your own towel, small backpack, change of cloths, sun block and sunglasses. Hydration packs with your favorite energy snacks come in handy for this adventure. Dress in light weight sportswear with sport shoes or hiking boot. Expect to get wet during the Green Season. Duration: 8 hours approx. Enjoy your stay at the Country Inn and Suites.
Day 4 : This morning you will be picked up by our driver and taken via private transfer to the local airport here in Panama City known as the Albrook Airport. From there you will fly Northeast to the Caribbean Coast for a stay on the beautiful islands of Bocas del Toro. Here, you will enjoy 3 nights at the brand new Playa Tortuga Resort in 2 connecting rooms.
Day 5 : Today you will be picked up early in the morning right at your hotel by your private boat captain to begin your private, full day boat tour of the best islands, national parks and snorkeling spots in Bocas. Visit the dolphins in Dolphin Bay or Laguna Bocatorito, then do some snorkeling at Coral Cay. Continue your tour towards Isla Zapatillas National Park where you can enjoy this incredible beach. Guide, transportation, and snorkeling gear included. Return to the Playa Tortuga Resort
Day 6 : Enjoy your Free Day in this beautiful paradise!
Day 7 : Transfer back to the airport in Bocas del Toro and fly to Panama City. Our driver will take you back to the Country Inn and Suites for your last night in Panama.
Day 8 : Our driver will take you via private transfer back to the international airport for your return flight home.
