Day 1: Let the adventure begin! After landing at the Panama International Airport, make your way to the National Car Rental desk to pick up your exploration on wheels: Toyota Yaris. Take off on what will be an unforgettable journey to
Panama City, exploring the sights along the way. Your final destination is the
Country Inn & Suites Amador, majestically located at the pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. This is very cozy 119-room hotel offers balconies in every room with views of the garden or the Bridge of the Americas. Enjoy the outdoor pool, jacuzzi or tennis courts or take a walk on the Amador Causeway, one of the In-spots in Panama. American Breakfast included.
Day 2: Start your journey to the Azuero Peninsula by driving over the Bridge of Americas. Head southwest to the wonderful town of
Pedasi and to your lodging,
Casa Margarita Inn. This five bedroom Bed & Breakfast in the charming setting of downtown Pedasi, is located within 5 minute's drive from several beaches and a small marina. The hotel is a recently remodeled country home with quality fixtures and finish work making it a very comfortable place to stay. The original rustic feel has been preserved providing guests with an authentic stay typical of the region.
Day 3: Spend a full day out around the shores of beautiful Iguana Island, and if the winds are right, the Frailes Islands, all off the beautiful coast of Pedasi. You'll be fishing "local style" on a 15-20ft "Panga" or small boat out on the open water. Catch as many fish as you can reel in including Tuna, Wahoo, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Snapper and others. Tour includes full day of fishing, guide, equipment and lunch. Return back to your comfortable quarters at the Casa Margarita.
Day 4: Head back out to the ocean to see if you can catch more fish than the locals. Take in the salty warm air of the pacific and revel in the beauty of Panama. After a full day's catch, return to
Casa Margarita to enjoy a cold beer in the garden.
Day 5: Last day to land that unattainable Amberjack! Head out to the clear blue depths on your Panga and return to Casa Margarita for your last night in unforgettable Pedasi.
Day 6: Take your time as you cruise back to Panama City enjoying the sights along the way. Stop off at a local restaurant or take a dip in the warm waters of the ocean or just enjoy the freedom of exploring this magical country. Your final destination is the
Country Inn & Suites Amador. Enjoy the sunset and tropical breezes on the Causeway at one of the many fine restaurants just minutes from the hotel, and take in your last night in Panama.
Day 7: Drive back to the Panama International Airport where you will part with your Yaris and fly home with memories for a lifetime.
