Day 1: You will begin your vacation upon arrival to the San Jose international airport in San Jose, Costa Rica. One of our representatives will meet you at the airport to explain your itinerary and answer any questions that you might have. You will be provide with a packet of vouchers and trip details. Your transportation from the airport will take you to Finca Rosa Blanca, a beautiful mountain inn with amazing views of the San Jose city lights and the Central Valley countryside.  Breakfast is included with your stay.

Day 2: Enjoy the natural fireworks and distant rumbling of Costa Rica's Waterfall Costa Rica mighty Arenal Volcano. After your 3.5 hour transfer to La Fortuna, which sits at the foot of the Volcano, you will be rewarded with a stay at La Mansion Inn. This exclusive boutique resort sits along the Arenal Lake providing mirror image views of the Arenal Volcano. You will have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the tranquil combination of adventure and pleasure.

Day 3: Stay at La Mansion Inn. Get carried away on an ATV adventure through the mountainous landscapes around Arenal. Enjoy various animals and excellent views of the volcanoAn optional trip to a local hot spring is the perfect cure after a day of adventure. Let your body unwind in the steamy water, rich with minerals and rumored healing powers. Spend another evening of relaxation while you watch Arenal's eruptions illuminate the night sky. You might mistake your surroundings for the set of "Jurassic Park"!

Day 4: Take a private transfer to the foot of the Arenal volcano where your personal guide will narrate your trip around the active volcano. Your guide will explain to you the activity taking place within the volcano since its last significant eruption in 1968. Currently, it is not uncommon to see small streams of lava coming down one of Arenal's many faces, creating the best natural fireworks display in Costa Rica. Reminisce about the sights and sounds of the day as you soak your weary bones in the Tabacon Hot Springs, before being served a delicious buffet dinner.  A private transfer will take you back to La Mansion hotel for your last evening in the shadow of the rumbling giant.

Day 5: After enjoying one last breakfast in La Fortuna, an English-speaking driver will take you to theLa Mariposa, Manuel Antonio Manuel Antonio National Park, where you will stay at the marvelous Hotel La Mariposa. This Spanish Mediterranean style hotel provides breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Guests are welcome to relax and enjoy all that the hotel has to offer including: restaurant, bar, pool, shuttle service to the national park, and winding trails through their tropical gardens.

Day 6: Get a bird's eye view as you whisk through the trees attached to a zip-line on a rainforest Canopy Tour.  Enjoy a 30 minute ride on horseback deep into the rainforest to the platforms, where you will begin your high-flying adventure.

Day 7:
Swim in the cool ocean, or explore the natural beauty of the Manuel Antonio National Park. Return to enjoy a relaxing evening at the Hotel La Mariposa.

Day 8: Your final day in Costa Rica before flying off to Panama. You will return to San Jose by private transfer where you will spend the night at the luxurious Hotel Alta.  The hotel is set above San Jose, just 20 minutes from the international airport for your morning flight to Panama!  Dine at Alta's classy Mirador restaurant and enjoy the San Jose city lights one last time.

Day 9: Take a private transfer to the San Jose International Airport for your hour-long flight to David, Panama.

Day 9: Arrive after a one-hour Air Panama flight on a 50-passenger, twin-engine plane. Our Panama driver will be waiting for you at the airport to present you with a Panama information pouch and vouchers. You will then enjoy a 45-minute scenic drive to the cool mountain town of Boquete. You will be dropped off at your hotel, Los Establos Bed and Breakfast, which sits on a 12-acre coffee plantation. The beauty of the surroundings and quality of service will make you never want to leave this unique and quaint B&B.

Day 10: Make a splash while whitewater rafting!  This exciting experience will give you a unique view of the spectacular panoramas. You can choose between several levels of rafting from class IV rapids, to milder trips for families and beginners. Enjoy another evening at Los Establos to calm down after the day's adventures.

Day 11: An early morning wake-up call is in need for today's hike up the Los Quetzales Trail. As its name suggests, this hike is likely to bring you face to face with the resplendent quetzal, as well as other birds native to the area. However, birdwatchers and non-birdwatchers alike will enjoy the magnificent beauty of the Chirriqui highlands. Afterwards, spend the afternoon relaxing or getting to know the artsy mountain town of Boquete, before returning for your final evening at Los Establos.

Day 12: In the morning, private transfer will take you to Boca Chica (approx 1 1/2 hrs). From the Boca Chica dock, a boat will tour you around the tiny islands to the secluded Boca Brava island and the Boutique Hotel Cala Mia. Cala Mia sits on a small peninsula and is made up of 11 luxurious bungalow suites, each with an outdoor rancho with a view of the beach or bay. Leave your keys and shoes behind as you mingle with other guests or enjoy the wonderful views from the second story look-out point above the eclectic restaurant, bar, and social area. Venture out over the swinging bridge to reach the spa/yoga center at the tip of the peninsula. You can feel good about your stay as 5% of room rates are donated to aid local indigenous populations.

Day 13: Take the opportunity to relax today beside the hotel's freshwater infinity pool, or charter a private boat tour to explore the nearby uninhabited islands where you can bathe on the pristine, white sand Birds in Bocas del Torobeaches! Fishing trips are also available from here!

Day 14: After your relaxing stay on a near deserted island, you should be awake and refreshed for today's transport back to Boca Chica by boat. You will then be driven to David in time for your 50-minute flight to Panama City. Get ready for a drastic change of scenery as your private transfer takes you from the airport to Panama's urban, cosmopolitan capital! You will be dropped off in the center of Panama City's financial district at The Bristol, an ultra-luxury hotel dedicated to fine service and hospitality. Spend the day shopping or exploring the city streets. In the evening, choose between a plethora of quality restaurants and nightlife destinations.

Day 15: Prepare to become an expert on Panama City after your Full-Day City & Canal Tour. The tour begins at the Miraflores Locks, where the canal meets the Pacific Ocean. Here, your expert guide will share the history and secrets of the Canal construction days, while you enjoy this amazing manmade wonder of the world up-close.  After brushing shoulders with giant cargo ships, you will return to Panama city to explore the modern city center, the historic "Casco Viejo" district, and the Amador Causeway with its waterfront stores and restaurants. After an action-packed day, return to the Bristol for another night of wonderful service.

Day 16: Your Costa Rica and Panama Combo Vacation has come to an end.  A private transfer will take you to the Tocumen International Airport in time for your flight home.
