Experience the contrasts of Panama's landscape in an itinerary that combines both mountain and beach destinations.

Day 1:  Arrive in Panama City where you will be met at the airport by one of our representatives. They will present you with your welcome packet and travel vouchers, show you to your vehicle and ride with you to your hotel. Along the way he or she will answer any questions you may have about your itinerary or Panama in general. 

Check into your Panama City lodging, Hotel Country Inn Amador. Majestically located at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal, this 98 room hotel features balconies with excellent views of the Bridge of the Americas, the Pacific and passing ships. Breakfast included.

Day 2:  Take an AM transfer to the domestic airport for your local flight to David in the high altitude province of Chiriqui. Transfer to your mountain lodging, Hotel Bambito Resort.  In between the highest mountains of Panama, near the Baru Volcano you will find this spectacular landmark hotel.

Set amid manicured grounds, lakes and a cleft in the steep hill, the surroundings are incredible.  The property offers activities such as natural trails, an indoor swimming pool, tennis court, and horseback riding. Breakfast included.

Day 3:  Arise early, check your pulse and head whitewater rafting!  A combination of whitewater excitement, spectacular panoramas and a chance to see exotic wildlife make this trip special. Choose from more technical river sections of class IVs or milder trips that are perfect for beginners and families. Rest your weary muscles in the quiet calm of the mountains.  Stay at Hotel Panamonte.

Day 4:  From the highlands...to the lowlands! Take a morning flight to the Caribbean islands of Bocas del Toro. Check into the Hotel Bocas del Toro, get settled and then head out on an ocean tour. 

Bocas del Toro is a chain of islands that make it water lover's paradise best enjoyed by boat.  Two boat excursions are included in your vacation.  Go dolphin watching in Bocatorito Lagoon, then do some snorkeling or scuba dive in Coral Cay.  Later visit Zapatillas Cay for swimming or and snorkeling. Each Cay (key) features different species of wildlife, different sand, flora, fauna and feeling.  You can explore them endlessly. Breakfast and dinner included each day at your hotel.

Day 5:  Take a tour to the unique Punta Caracol Lodge for snorkeling or scuba diving, then stop at Star's Beach to view birds or sunbathe.  Later visit the pristine beaches of Boca de Drago. Stay at Hotel Bocas del Toro.

Day 6:  Stay at Bocas del Toro and soak up some rays or explore the colorful local village.

Day 7:  Take a PM transfer to the local airport for a domestic flight to Panama City. Transfer to Amador Country Inn for your last evening.  Check out the local nightlife or dining scene.  Panama City is often referred to as "little Miami"...find out why!  Stay at Amador Country Inn.

Day 8:  Transfer to the International airport to await your flight home.
