Day 1 : Our representative will meet you at the Tocumen International Airport to
ensure a comfortable arrival and provide you with your travel
information packet. You will then be transferred in a private, air
conditioned microbus to the Gamboa National Park where you will enjoy a
three night stay at the
Gamboa
Rainforest Resort in a lovely room with a king-sized bed. Get a
good night's rest, you've got an early morning of birding ahead.
Day2 : Rise and shine! Our guide will pick you up early in the morning to begin
your bird watching tour along the famous Pipeline Road. If you are a
birder and you haven't been to Panama, you don't know what you're
missing. Panama boasts 954 bird species, more than the US and Canada
combined. Further making Panama a birders dream-come-true is the easy
access to most of the bird-rich locations. Includes: Transportation,
Expert Bilingual Naturalist Guide, Box Lunch, Bottled Water, Entrance
Fees and Birding Check list. Stay at the
Gamboa Rainforest Resort.
Day 3 : Today you can enjoy a more relaxing morning as you will most likely awaken to the sounds of the Howler monkeys. At mid morning, you are off on an adventure through the canopy on Gamboa's Aerial Tram. Your bilingual guide will point out local flora and faunas you travel above the tree tops, offering spectacular views of the Panama Canal, the jungle and bird sightings!
Day 4 : This morning you will be picked up and taken via private transfer to the
domestic airport in
Panama City known as Albrook Airport. You'll make
the one hour flight Northwest to Panama's second largest city, David.
You will be met by one of our representatives at the airport and taken
via private transfer about 30 minutes up the road to the town of Cerro
Punta. Here, you will enjoy one of Panama's most unique stays deep in
the rainforest of the Baru
Volcano
National Park in the secluded cabins of the
Los
Quetzales Lodge.
Day 5 : Enjoy your privately guided tour of the
Los Quetzales Trail. Start your
hike around Los Quetzales trail at the Alto Chiquero Ranger Station.
Enjoy 4 hours of birdwatching with your own bird specialist before
returning to the ranger station and your private transfer back
to your hotel. Stay the night in your cabin at Los Quetzales.
Day 6 : Enjoy your Free Day exploring on your own!

Day 7 : Our driver will transfer you back to the David airport for
your flight back to Panama City, where you will be dropped off at your hotel for a
one night stay at the Country Inn and Suites Amador.
Day 8 : Our driver will take you via private transfer back to the international
airport for your return flight home.
