The development is approximately located 95 km (59 miles) East from Panama City, and you can reach Panama City from Altos del Maria in only 75 minutes. Residents are only 20 minutes away from some of Panama's best beaches; it's just a short drive down the mountain to the beach! Altos del Maria is 30 minutes away from several world-class golf courses, supermarkets and shopping, and the community of El Valle.

Altos del Maria is a country-style, residential project of approximately 1,600 hectares (4,000 acres) located between 550 and 1,100 meters (1,800 and 3,600 ft) above sea level. The climate at Altos del Maria is, on average a cool 70°F, 18 degrees less than at the low lands and coastal towns. The higher altitude reduces the tropical humidity about 20 points as well, making for a very comfortable climate during the day and nippy at night.
Altos del Maria has many beautiful scenic features to offer. It has valleys, creeks, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, wooded areas, and ocean views. The lowest altitude of Altos is about 1600 feet above sea level, and its highest point, so far, is 3600 feet above sea level. From this altitude, on a clear day, you may see both oceans (Pacific and Atlantic). You can see as far as the tip of the Azuero Peninsula, (Punta Mala), John Wayne's Island, miles of coastlines, and two valleys. You have a sense of openness and freedom, can enjoy pure fresh mountain air, blue wide open sky and very clear starry nights.
This brand new cozy mountain cottage has 3 bedrooms, a master bedroom with queen size bed, secondary room with full size bed and third room with 2 twin bunk beds. 4 bathrooms, drawing room-dinning room, pool table, ceiling fans, cable TV, and ample outdoor terrace where you can cook a delicious BBQ with your family or simplify enjoy the fresh mountain air.
