Day 1 - Welcome to Costa Rica! Today you will land in San Jose where one of our representatives will greet you. After this you will board a private shuttle that will take you to the luxurious Arenal Nayara Hotel & Gardens. On the way you will see Costa Rica's stunning countryside, including the mountains that surround the Central Valley and much more. The Arenal Nayara has 24 deluxe suites in separate private bungalows with their own tropical gardens. You can sit on your private porch and admire the beauty of the volcano, or at night see the volcano glow as lava flows down its sides.
Day 2 - Today you will go on an exciting hiking out in Arenal. A short hike in one of the trails close to the volcano area will give you the chance to enjoy lush forest views and the activity around it, including, but not limited to, birdwatching, enocounters with different reptile species and more. At the hot springs our customers can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak. After this tour head back to the hotel, relax and get some rest. The best is yet to come.
Day 3 - Travel by private shuttle from Arenal to the tropical paradise of Tamarindo. Here you'll stay at the wonderful Capitan Suizo.
The hotel is famous for its combination of first class European service with tropical surroundings. Each of the rooms here has been carefully designed to work as your own private sanctuary. Bungalows and rooms feature a mezzanine bedroom with a King sized bed and sliding doors that open to a tropical garden. Private bathrooms include a deep bathtub with a view.
Day 4 - Explore Tamarindo! The town is famous for its variety of restaurants, bars and shops. Enjoy a delciious smoothie while you take long walks on the beach. Go for a swim in the ocean or lounge by the pool at the Capitan Suizo. Whatever you do make sure to have a meal at the hotel, its open-air restaurant/bar is set beneath a thatched roof, and allows you to revel in the ocean view and breezes while enjoying savory meals and refreshing drinks. International cuisine (with Swiss accents) highlights the diverse menu. The chef has a flair for variety and is often creating new temptations such as Tilapia Calabrese, Beef Stroganoff and dreamy desserts.
Day 5 - Embark on an exciting diving trip! Just offshore from Tamarindo you will find one of the most attractive dive sites in Costa Rica. It is an area where divers often find themselves surrounded by large schools of colorful fish and abundance of manta rays and stingrays. The formations provide a spectacular variety of marine life from nudibranchs to sharks, with angel fish, jacks, snappers, grunts, octopus and eels in between.
After this tour head back to the Capitan Suizo for a night of rest, or more of their delicious food.
Day 6 - We know you want more, so today you will go for more deep sea exploring! Create your own custom trip and ask your guides about places to see different species of fish and other sea animals. After your tour head back to the Capitan Suizo for some deserved rest.
Day 7 - Use the day to hang by the beach, work on your tan and take a refreshing dip in the cool Pacific waters. Visit the many shops of Tamarindo and find awesome souvenirs to bring back home with you. You can also take a tour on your own, as Tamarindo offers innumerable options including ATV tours, hikes, surf adventures and more. Then head back to one last night at the Capitan Suizo.
Day 8 - Your diving vacation has come to an end. Head back to the Liberia Airport and catch your flight back home.  |
