Day 1 - Welcome to Costa Rica! One of our representatives will meet you at the San Jose International Airport where you'll receive all the information about your trip. A private shuttle will then take you to the Real Intercontinental Hotel in San Jose. Located a mere fifteens minutes away from the airport and ten minutes from downtown San José, the Real Intercontinental is close to an array of businesses, stores, movie theaters and fast-food restaurants and faces the modern Multiplaza Mall. The hotel features 261 luxurious guest rooms. All were designed to satisfy both vacationers and business people, the hotel features 15 business rooms meant for those on work trips. The hotel features several restaurants and lounges where you can hold informal meetings and has one of the most complete business centers in the city.
Day 2 - Use this day to relax by the hotel's pool as you go throuhg your work emails and calls. Be sure to take advantage of the hotel's business center. After you're done with work, why not head over to the spa and reward yourself with a sensuous massage? If you need to get some shopping done, cross the street to Multiplaza, this modern mall just added new designer shops including Carolina Herrera and Swarovski.
Day 3 - A private transfer will take you from San Jose to the beautiful region of Arenal. Here you will stay at the Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort. The hotel has 114 rooms, which include 49" flat screen television sets and satellite programming, private patios and ice coolers, as well as private spaces where you can concentrate on getting some work done. The resort features exquisite dining at its bars and restaurants. At night you can see the eruptions from the hot water pools or from the comfort of your room.
Day 4 - Tabacon's award-winning Grand Spa is designed to help you relax, rejuvenate and beautify. Why not take this entire day to relax in one of the 12 natural mineral pools that are spread throughout the property? The lush natural setting of the spa will completely seduce you and you can always take a dip in the man-made pools. The spa offers massages, manicures, pedicures and a number of other treatments which are given in private ranchos surrounded by the jungle and the natural sound of running water.
Day 5 - Today you will go on an exciting rappel tour. Begin your adventure with a short ride into the rainforest. Next, trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Begin rappelling to the bottom of a 350-foot canyon, through 3 waterfalls and one rock dry face. You may spot wildlife such a monkeys, sloths, and tropical birds. Head back to the Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort for a much deserved night of rest.
Day 6 - A transfer will take you from Arenal to the tropical paradise of Guanacaste. Here you will stay at the JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa. This hotel offers the ultimate vacation experience and a lifetime of memories. With 310 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, this luxury resort has quickly become known as one of the most magnificent resorts in Latin America. The property is situated on a secluded beach in a prime location within Costa Rica's renowned Gold Coast. The Resort features a breathtaking free flowing pool covering more than 25,000 square feet and offering a combination of private alcoves for couples and fun filled excitement for families. Enjoy a wonderful Spa experience in the the Resort's full service Spa and state of the art gym.
Day 7 - Head out on an exciting canopy tour! In this tour you will enjoy the primary forest in a different way: trails built up in the top of the trees (about 105 feet high) take you to the first platform, from there you start an exciting canopy swinging to the other 12 platforms, which are connected by 9 cables from 150 to 400 feets long. You might be getting hot by now because of the canopy, so you can cool off on the 1200 ft. long water slide. After having lunch at the Lodge, you start the third part of the tour: Horseback riding to the thermal waters, steambath and natural spa, located at the foot of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.
Head back to your luxurious room at the JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa for a night of sleep.
Day 8 - Keep work to the minimum and spend the day working on your tan at the JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa's luscious beach. If you feel like doing something more sporty, head over to their stunning golf course, the 18-hole championship golf course neighbors the resort and features a challenging experience with breathtaking views of flourishing landscapes and the Pacific Ocean.
Enjoy fantastic meals at the resort's many restaurants, we recommend the Tamarine, which offers a delightful mix of oc Pan-asian fusion cuisine in a relaxing environment.
Day 9 - Today you will take a short transfer to the Guanacaste airstrip. From here a short flight will take you to the San Jose International Airport where you will catch a flight back home.  |
