Day 1 Today you arrive into San Jose International Airport. One of our representatives will meet and greet you and then take you to your private shuttle. In San Jose you will stay at the Grano de Oro Hotel. Situated on a quiet street just off one of San José's most important avenues, this is a true sanctuary in the heart of the city. Converted from a tropical Victorian mansion, the 32-room hotel maintains the warmth and comfort of a private home. All rooms are furnished in lavish Victorian styles including wrought-iron beds and rich fabrics. The art and furnishings were handcrafted by Costa Rican artists. Guests delight in the tranquil ambiance of tropical plants and flowers found throughout the hotel. Additionally, a rooftop garden terrace with lawn beds and Jacuzzi provides blissful, secluded lounging. The restaurant at Grano de Oro is one of the city's finest and merges Costa Rican tropical with European cuisine.
 
Day 2 - You will be picked up from the Grano de Oro Hotel and taken to Tortuguero. Here you will stay at the Manatus Hotel. A room at Manatus Hotel begins with an extraordinary sense of peace and comfort. Your guest room is designed to inspire, its beauty connects you with the surrounding environment of a wildlife sanctuary and the water canals, while ensuring your comfort and convenience.

Day 3 - Explore the magnificence of what is called the Venice of Costa Rica. Tortuguero has a large array of natural activities you can do including, but not limited to, boat tours through the canals, sports fishing, hikes through the jungle, bird watching and scuba diving in open sea. Be sure to ask the hotel staff for suggestions! The Manatus is also a great place for entertainment. Why not head over to their fantastic spa or enjoy a lavish meal at their Ara Macaw restaurant?

Day 4 - Today you will leave Tortuguero and arrive to Arenal. Here you'll stay at The Springs Resort & Spa. With a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano, natural hot and cold springs, four unique dining experiences, and an impressive full service spa, The Springs Resort and Spa at Arenal promises to overwhelm you with its high levels of quality, service and design. The eighteen freeform, landscaped pools provide guests with great views of the volcano and a multitude of options for swimming, floating and relaxing. From raging waterfalls to tranquil forest experiences, guests are sure to find the perfect pool for them. The guest rooms and villas at The Springs are decorated in warm tones with natural materials like fine woods, bamboo and river rocks, creating the perfect setting for a mountain escape.

Day 5 - Today you will go on a hike in the Arenal Volcano. The Arenal Volcano is active since 1968, it constantly ejects gases, water, fumaroles and explosions with pyroclastic material emissions, and sometimes the eruptions are accompanied with powerful thunders. The biggest and heaviest material falls close to the crater. As the lava flows down it slowly cools off. A short hike in one of the trails close to the volcano area will give you the chance to enjoy some forest and the activity around it. Then you will enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the hot springs. After this head back to the The Springs Resort & Spa for a night of sleep.

Day 6 - Have you heard about canyoneering? Well today you will be doing it! Canyoneering is a brand new sport that’s becoming very popular the world over! Near the Arenal Volcano, the rugged, mountainous terrain is ideal for incredible canyoneering options & huge, breathtaking waterfalls! This unique, multi-sport adventure combines rappelling, down-climbing and river tracing in a deep, tropical canyon. the Lost Canyon Adventure is an experience of a lifetime – go where very few have had the privilege to roam! Imagine yourself in the midst of thick rainforest at the top of a magical canyon full of tropical waterfalls with surprises each step of the way. After the tour head back to the The Springs Resort & Spa for some much deserved rest.

Day 7 - A private transfer will take you from Arenal to Papagayo where you will be staying at the Four Seasons Resort, the country's ffinest luxury resort. The generously sized guest rooms and suites are expertly crafted with indigenous woods and natural stone finishes. Each room seamlessly blends indoor comfort with an outdoor terrace or balcony and mesmerizing views of the Gulf of Papagayo. Sliding louvered doors between sleeping and living spaces maximize privacy and invite the flow of fresh sea breezes. Well-defined work areas allow guests to remain productive, with modern technology for communication and entertainment, including high-speed Internet access throughout the resort and a daily newspaper delivered with breakfast.

Day 8 - Use this day to make the most out of your stay at the Four Seasons! The hotel has countless entertainment and relaxation options. You can spend an entire afternoon lounging by one of the spectacular pools, or maybe hit the private beaches in the property. Take strolls through the charming gardens or practice your moves at the Arnold Palmer Championship Golf Course (you'll love the ocean views from here!). Day 9 - Today you will go on Buena Vista tour near the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. In this tour you will enjoy the primary forest in a different way: trails built up in the top of the trees (about 105 feet high) take you to the first platform, from there you start an exciting canopy swinging to the other 12 platforms, which are connected by 9 cables from 150 to 400 feets long. You might be getting hot by now because of the canopy, so you can cool off on the 1200 ft. long water slide. After having lunch at the Lodge, you will start the third part of the tour: Horseback riding to the thermal waters, steambath and natural spa, located at the foot of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.
Then head back to the Four Seasons for some rest.

Day 10 - Continue exploring the Four Seasons. Feel free to ask the Four Seasons' staff about local attractions or just make the most of your relaxation time and visit the world famous spa where you can get natural exfoliations, rich tropical massages, custom salon treatments and more. Make sure to enjoy the Four Seasons' diverse dining options. Try the fresh sashimi by the poolside lounge or treat yourself to a five course meal at their luxurious Di Mare.   

Day 11 - Today you will take a short transfer to the Liberia International Airport. From here you will fly to San Jose into the Tobias Bolanos Airport. From here you'll take another short transfer towards the San Jose International Airport where you will board a short flight that will take you to Manuel Antonio. After all this traveling you'll be able to relax in the fantastic Arenas del Mar Beach & Nature Resort. This is an ocean view beach and nature resort with a strong commitment to the surrounding environment and local community. It has 38 upscale rooms and suites, offering a casual beach front restaurant and an elegant dining facility with spectacular views of the National Park as well as two swimming pools, a small Spa, gift shop and business center.

Day 12 - Go on a private tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. One of the area’s most popular tours introducing visitors to the most visited National Park in Costa Rica. Have an experienced nature guide take you on a private informative hike through the park. The guides know where you are most likely to encounter sloths, monkeys etc. They will also provide a great deal of information on the history, flora and fauna during this relaxed 2.5 hour walk. Then head back to Arenas del Mar Beach & Nature Resort for a night of sleep.

Day 13 - Use this day to explore Manuel Antonio on your own or stay in your hotel. The hotel is set amid 11 acres of nature, on a property with private trails and access to two beautiful sand beaches. You will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of scenic and adventurous tours such as kayaking, horseback riding, river rafting and guided rain forest hikes. Furthermore, you will enjoy state of the art facilities and amenities such as high speed internet access, world class cuisine as well as exceptional personalized service.

Day 14 - A private shuttle will take you to the Quepos air strip where you will catch a plane to the Osa Peninsula where you will stay at the exclusive Lapa Rios. Built over 350 feet above the sea, Lapa Rios catches the cooling tropical breezes and beautiful views. The main lodge, housing the restaurant and bar, soars 50 feet and is built of local, natural materials. Palm thatched roofs meet a three-story hardwood circular stairway. Climb to overlook the forest canopy and breathtaking ocean vistas. Comfortable, locally made bamboo furniture adds to relaxation in this tranquil panorama of nature.

Day 15 - 16 - Use these days to make the most of your stay in Lapa Rios. Day 17 - Fly from the Osa Peninsula back to San Jose where you will stay at Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn. Situated above the beautiful Central Valley of Costa Rica, located only 20 minutes from the airport. Surrounded by towering higuerón trees and exotic flora, the Inn offers spectacular views of volcanoes, cloud forests and coffee plantations.
