Day 1 - Welcome to Costa Rica! Today you'll land in beautiful Liberia where you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will provide you with all the information you need about your trip. From here you will take a private shuttle to the luxurious The Westin Playa Conchal Resort & Spa: an All Inclusive eco-friendly retreat, located between the exotic forests and unspoiled beaches of the North Pacific Riviera of Costa Rica, our secluded vacation spot is a perfect balance between unrivaled luxury and local culture, giving our guests an unforgettable vacation experience. Our All-Inclusive experience includes all meals, drinks, use of the Fitness Center and Westin Kids Club as well as entertainment options including non motorized water sports, daily activities and nightly events.
Day 2 - Take this day to enjoy the resort. The hotel features a spectacular outdoor fresh water pool for adults and children with one Jacuzzi set in 20,000 sq. ft. of beautiful gardens. There's also a Royal Beach pool for adults, as well as an 18 Holes Reserva Conchal Golf Course Par 71 designed by Robert Trent Jones II, lighted tennis courts and more! Feel free to ask the staff about activities to do in the property.
Day 3 - Today you will go on an exciting canopy tour. In this tour you will enjoy the primary forest in a different way: trails built up in the top of the trees (about 105 feet high) take you to the first platform, from there you start an exciting canopy swinging to the other 12 platforms, which are connected by 9 cables from 150 to 400 feets long. You might be getting hot by now because of the canopy, so you can cool off on the 1200 ft. long water slide. After having lunch at the Lodge, you will start the third part of the tour: horseback riding to the thermal waters, steambath and natural spa, located at the foot of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Here, you will enjoy the rejuvenating treatments with volcanic mud and mineral waters.
Day 4 - Use this day to visit the resort's spa. Known for its world class service you can indulge yourself with a full body massage, get your hair and nails done or just relax in the steam room. Ask the staff about their newest treatments, you will be seduced by the lush decadence of their options.
Day 5 - Today you will go on a tour of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. This park was created to protect the biodiversity around Rincon de la Vieja Volcano area. It extends over 14083 hectares of lush forest and includes a barren rocky terrain at altitudes that range from 1950 feet to 5748 feet above the sea level. Fumaroles, hot mud pools and the eerie steam holes of Las Pailas create an amazing landscape. The hiking tour takes about two hours. During this hiking you will get to see the secondary Waterfall, which is about 195 feet high and is located on a rocky terrain devastated by the volcanic eruptions. Day 6 - 7 Use these days to take advantage of all the entertainment options available in The Westin Playa Conchal Resort & Spa. We recommend their various dining options which pretty much comprise a small vacation in themselves. The Spices restaurant features exotic Asian cuisine, the Faisanela offers hearty Italian meals and Le Boucanier has a menu filled with French delicacies with a Caribbean twist. Our favorite is the Caracola, a stunning restaurant that serves fresh seafood every day of the week!
Day 8 - Your luxurious vacation has come to an end. Today you will take a private shuttle to the Liberia Airport where you will await your flight back home. |
