Day 1: Fly into San Jose where a private shuttle will pick you up on your way to Arenal, where you'll stay at the luxurious Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort. Day 2: Today is reserved for pure relaxation as you enjoy an intensive volcanic spa treatment for two at the Grand Spa. Experience a volcanic stone facial, reflexology and a couple's massage in a private out-door rancho set in an exclusive corner of the tropical hot springs property.
Day 3: Today you will embark on a natural adventure, the Safari Float. This soothing Rio Peñas Blancas River Float trip will put you up close and personal with tropical birds, monkeys, poison dart frogs, and more!
Day 4: Transfer to the cloud forests of Monteverde, one of Costa Rica's most impressive natural settings. Stay at Hotel El Establo in their romantic Honeymoon Suite. Set on a private 150-acre farm adjacent to the Monteverde Reserve, this Quaker-owned hotel offers warm hospitality, private forest trails, a lake swimming pool and international cuisine.
Day 5: Travel by horseback through natural trails, primary and secondary forest, as well as banana and coffee plantations. Take pleasure in wonderful views of the Gulf of Nicoya, and observe a great variety of birds and plants as you experience the distinct cloud forest eco-system.
Day 6: Transfer to your own cabin at the luxurious and eco-friendly El Silencio Lodge, set amid 500 acres of private forest.
