A Colorful Journey Through Tropical Jungles and Beaches Day 1: A private transfer will pick you up from the San Jose International Airport for your journey to the Hotel Villa Blanca. The views across the valley from this hillside location are wonderful and the beautifully designed gardens offer the perfect welcome to Costa Rica. It is easy to forget that you are just minutes from San Jose! Day 2: Ready for an astonishing look at Costa Rica's flora and fauna? Tour the Cloud Forest surrounding Villa Blanca today with a guide who will explain the unique bio-diversity of the region. Day 3: Take a private shuttle to Manuel Antonio on the Central Pacific coast where you'll stay at the colorful Si Como No, a beautifully designed eco-friendly resort and Spa. Day 4-5: Discover the natural wonders that have made Manuel Antonio such a popular destination on a guided National Park Tour. Your naturalist guide will point out 3 species of monkeys, sloths, tropical birds as well as marine life at one of the park's many ocean coves. Spend the afternoon bathing in the calm waters as you watch the local wildlife go about its daily business. The next day, experience the tropical forest from a whole new perspective, flying through the air on a canopy zip line tour. Day 6: Today you will board a flight for Palmar Sur, a tiny airport on the Osa Peninsula for your transfer to the Aguila de Osa Inn. This remote jungle lodge is set at the mouth of a river that flows into Drake Bay on the north end of the peninsula. Day 7-8: Your stay at Aguila de Osa includes three daily meals served family style and a tour to the Corcovado National Park or a day of Snorkeling to Caño Island. Spend your free day exploring a nearby secluded beach or using the free kayaks to explore the river or coastline. Day 9: Unfortunately this trip has come to an end. You will fly back to San Jose to the International Airport to await your flight home. |
