A Thrilling Journey Through Tropical Jungles and Beaches Day 1: A private transfer will pick you up from the San Jose International Airport and take you to the Hotel Villa Blanca. Located on a privileged hillside, the hotel offers incredible views of the San Jose Valley and access to delicately landscaped gardens. You will forget how close to the city you actually are.
Day 2: Tour the Cloud Forest surrounding Villa Blanca with a private guide who will explain the unique bio-diversity of the region. You'll get a personal look at Costa Rica's rich flora and fauna. Day 3: Take a private shuttle to Manuel Antonio on the Central Pacific coast where you'll stay at the colorful Si Como No, a beautifully designed eco-friendly resort and spa. Day 4-5: Discover the natural wonders that have made Manuel Antonio such a popular destination on a guided tour of its National Park. Your naturalist guide will point out various species of monkeys, sloths, tropical birds and marine life at one of the park's ocean coves. Spend the afternoon bathing in the calm waters as you interact with the local wildlife. The next day, experience the tropical forest from the skies as you fly through the air on a canopy zip line tour. Day 6: Today you will board a flight for Palmar Sur, a small airport on the Osa Peninsula for your transfer to the Aguila de Osa Inn. This remote jungle lodge is set at the mouth of a river that flows into Drake Bay on the north end of the peninsula.
Day 7-8: Your stay at Aguila de Osa includes three daily meals served family style and a tour to the Corcovado National Park or a day of Snorkeling to Caño Island. Spend your day exploring a nearby secluded beach or using the complimentary kayaks to explore the river or coastline. Day 9: As the trip comes to its end you will fly back to the San Jose International Airport where your flight home awaits you. |
