 This package lets guests uncover the best of Costa Rica’s volcanoes, jungle and white secluded beaches at a relaxed pace. Pack your days full of adventure, or just relax and enjoy the distinct landscapes and wildlife that will surround you.
Day 1: Upon arrival to the Juan Santamaría International airport, one of our representatives will explain your itinerary and provide you with a packet of vouchers and information about your trip. You won’t lose anytime when your private transfer picks you up and takes you straight to the Lost Iguana resort, at the foot of the Arenal Volcano (aprox. 3 hours). Spend the rest of the evening dining at the hotel and enjoying your own hot tub with views of the lava flow off the flank of Arenal.
 Day 2: River Rafting on Rio Toro (all day) Ride class III and IV rapids down the Rio Toro while enjoying the beautiful surrounding nature. The trip includes transportation, lunch, a bilingual guide, and all equipment.
Day 3: Take advantage of free time in the morning to stretch your legs on the 100-acre property of Lost Iguana, which is traversed by miles of nature paths that lead through streams and dense jungle. In the afternoon you will enjoy a trip to the Tabacon hot springs, where you can enjoy a leisurely dinner and soak in the warm natural waters, which are beautifully landscaped into cascading pools of varying temperatures and known for their healing properties.
 Day 4: Your private transfer will arrive at 10am to take you to the Cuna del Angel lodge, south of Dominical on the Pacific coast. You will arrive just in time to enjoy a poolside sunset meal at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant. Rest up in your private colonial-style villa for the next day’s adventures.
Day 5: Today you’re off to sea to fish or snorkel around the Isla del Caño, an area rich in marine life. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the beach as you catch some sun, or wander around the uninhabited island. Upon your return to Cuna del Angel, you can take a dip in the infinity pool before heading off to the down of Dominical for a casual meal on the beach. If the surfer vibe is your thing, you may opt to continue the evening at one of the local bars in the center of town.
 Day 6-7: The beaches surrounding Dominical are known world-wide for their excellent surf breaks. Hit the waves, or explore the area by ocean kayak. You may also choose to enjoy mountain biking, mountain climbing, horseback riding along the private beaches. For a different perspective of the tropical forests, try a canopy tour that will have you soaring through the treetops while a knowledgeable guide can point out animal species in their natural habitats.
Day 8: A private transfer will arrive early in the morning to take you back to the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose in time for your afternoon flight. Enjoy the last views of the Costa Rican countryside as you make your way back to where it all began.
