An Unforgettable Learning Experience for the Whole Family
Day 1: Fly to the San Jose international airport, where one of our representatives will transfer you to the nearby Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton for your first night stay in Costa Rica. Forgot snacks for the children? That's not a problem as there is a 24-hour convenience store located on the hotel grounds.
Day 2: Take a transfer-tour from San Jose to Arenal via the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. While in route to Arenal you will visit these beautiful grounds and learn about local butterfly and humming bird species, on a short hike to the majestic waterfalls! Upon arrival to Arenal, stay at the Arenal Kioro Hotel, in front of the majestic, active volcano. Your stay includes access to the Titoku Hot Springs with eight different naturally heated pools with hydro-massage.
Day 3: Take the Arenal Hanging Bridges Tour where a naturalist guide will teach you about the geologic history of the region and point out local wildlife, on an unforgettable journey through the Costa Rican tropical forest.
Day 4: Enjoy breakfast while taking a last view of the Arenal Volcano. A private transfer will take you to the local airstrip where a short flight will save you from the slow and bumpy roads of Costa Rica. After your arrival in Quepos, transportation will be provided the Si Como No Hotel, a beautiful natural sanctuary located just minutes from the Manuel Antonio National Park.
Day 5-6: Explore the natural beauty of Manuel Antonio National Park on a guided walking tour. A great diversity of wildlife awaits you! This is a great opportunity for viewing different species of monkey, tropical birds and marine life. Spend your free time browsing the open air market for souvenirs or swimming in the warm waters of the Pacific. In the evenings, dine at one of Si Como No's two popular restaurants, Rico Tico Bar 'n Grill serving a Tico/Tex-mex menu, or the Claro Que Si!, a seafood restaurant with an authentic Caribbean touch.
Day 7: Soak up the morning sun at the beach and then take an afternoon Catamaran Coastal Adventure cruise on the Planet Dolphin Discovery. Enjoy not only incredible sunsets, and the opportunity to view nature's wonders up close, but an invaluable educational experience for your children with a naturalist guiding their lessons across the deep blue sea!
Day 8: Transport to Quepos Airport for a domestic flight to San Jose international airport where you will board your flight home.
