Day 1: A private transfer will be awaiting your arrival at the San Jose International airport to whisk you off to the lakeside property of La Mansion Arenal. A charming country cottage will become your new home base as you tour the lively region surrounding the active Arenal volcano.Day 2: Start your trip off with a real rush on today"s white water rafting tour along the Rio Toro. Class III and IV rapids will bring you through a lush jungle landscape for a mix of adventure and nature you"ll never forget.
Day 3-4: Enjoy the highlights of Arenal on your last two days with your Arenal Volcano Hike & Hot Springs Tour, and then a full day to visit the center of town for some fine dining, souvenir shopping or just to explore. You"ll walk over cooled lava fields while learning about the flora and fauna of the region before a therapeutic soak in naturally heated rivers.
Day 5: Getting there is part of the adventure today. Your private transfer will take you along country roads and on a ferry ride to reach the pristine beach community of Santa Teresa. Here you"ll stay at one of the most exclusive properties in the country, the remote Latitude 10 Beach Resort.
Day 6-8: During your free time in paradise you may spend leisurely days strolling the endless white sand beach, searching tide pools, relaxing in the warm water or exploring the local dining options. For a bit more adventure, you may book any of the following tours: ATV tour along the beach and through the rain forest, surf lessons or board rentals, canopy zipline tour, Cabo Blanco national park tour or deep sea fishing.
Day 9: Your trip comes to an end today. You will return to the San Jose International airport by plane from the Tambor airstrip in time for your flight home.
