This cruise is available both from Cartagena, Colombia to Los Sueños Resort in Jaco, Costa Rica and the other way round. This is the day-by-day schedule for sailing on Variety Voyager from Cartagena to Los Sueños:

Day 1—Cartagena, Colombia— Embark on the Voyager in the afternoon hours and spend the first night sailing to San Blas Islands

Day 2 —San Blas Islands, Panama—Arrive in the San Blas Archipelago mid-day to explore its stunning azure waters with white sand beaches and indigenous culture of the Kuna Indians. The archipelago consists of 365 islands (only 50 are inhabited) that are run exclusively by Kuna Indigenous community. Kuna  pass on their customs through dances and chants, and crafts which include their richly embroidered molas. The women dress as their ancestors did with brilliant shawls, strands of beads wrapping their legs and gold rings through their noses. Embark the vessel in the afternoon to sail onward to Panama City.

Day 3—Portobello & Canal Crossing, Panama—Arrive to Portobello fort in the morning to enjoy an excursion of the fort ruins and relaxed morning at the nearby beach. In the early afternoon, prepare yourself to experience crossing of the man-made wonder—Panama canal. Gatun locks will take you to to Gatun lake and after crossing Miraflores locks early in the morning, the boat will dock at the Flamenco Marina.

Day 4—Panama City—Explore the streets of Panama City and the Canal Zone during the morning hours. After lunch, it’s time to continue sailing to Coiba island.

Day 5—Coiba & Granito de Oro Islands, Panama—Coiba island is a UNESCO world heritage site, and the larges island in Central America. It’s surrounded by one of the larges coral reefs on the Pacific coast of the Americas. Afternoon is reserved for visit to Granit de Oro, for snorkeling and swimming in pristine waters.

Day 6—Golfito & Drake Bay, Costa Rica—Enjoy morning excursion to Corcovado National Park; have a BBQ at the beach, swim, snorkel and explore nearby nature trails.

Day 7—Quepos & Los Suenos, Costa Rica—Arrive early to Quepos and visit Manuel Antonio National Park with naturalists leading the walk for the outstanding wildlife viewing. Enjoy trails and the beaches, or just shop around.

Day 8—Los Sueños Marina, Costa Rica—Arrive to Los Sueños Marina at 8am, leaving you plenty of time to check out Jaco or San Jose after disembarkation and before your flight home.
