Osa Peninsula
It’s said that more than half of all of Costa Rica’s animal species live in the Osa Peninsula. This biologically rich area is accessible only by plane or boat, which ensures that most of its land remains unspoiled by civilization. Osa is home to the world famous Corcovado National Park, perhaps one of the biggest attractions in all of Central America. The park is open to the public and is home to some of the most fascinating creatures on earth including coatis, bull sharks and coatis.

Monteverde
The road to Monteverde might be one of the most picturesque in Costa Rica; miles and miles of green forest pave the way towards the main town 4600 feet above sea level. Once there you will literally be in the heart of the cloud forest, with nothing but vegetation and fog around you. To say Monteverde is breathtaking would be an understatement, considering that it often ends up on lists that praise its location and the way in which its inhabitants have developed a sustainable eco-tourism industry.
