Playa Langosta is one of the most popular beaches in Guanacaste. Because of its proximity to Tamarindo, it has become a favored spot for tourists who enjoy sunbathing on its stunning beachfront. Playa Langosta is located at the mouth of an estuary, which makes it ideal for surfers (because of the complex breaks created in the water) but it is also favored for those looking to walk along its spacious rocky shore. Throughout most of the year this beach can feel rather intimate, but it gets very crowded during high season, given that year after year more visitors become aware of its beauty.
