The first structure at Makanda by the Sea was the Large Villa, originally designed as a home. This villa now hosts three attractive studios on the lower level with a more spacious studio on the upper level. The other villas are independently set in the forests along the mountain side. Expansive bi-fold doors open onto large balconies, bringing nature into the home. The geometrically designed infinity pool has over 4,000 feet of deck space and is perched on a forty-five degree hillside. Spacious viewing decks reach into the jungle canopy, bringing animal life within arms reach. The sun sets among clouds, sizzling as it sinks below the liquid horizon. Sipping on a cool tropical drink while soaking in the Jacuzzi is enhanced by the evening's cool breezes.
