Review: Laguna Lodge has been designed to allow you to enjoy all the
best of Tortuguero National Park. Located on a fringe of land,
its 14 acres of gardens have the Caribbean on one side and
lagoons and canals on the other.
52 spacious rooms are equipped
with private bathrooms, hot water and fans. Divided in blocks
of 4 rooms each with hallways. The restaurant is delicious and is
one of the most prestigious in the region. In addition there
is a cocktail bar above the lagoon, huts with hammocks, and a
40 meter swimming pool with hydro-massage waterfall.
The lodge has its own fleet of
nine boats that provide river transfers and tours to
adjacent areas and within the Tortuguero National Park.
While navigating along the causeways you can observe a
fascinating rainforest jungle with vegetation that towers over
more than 200 feet in height. The jungle is populated
with monkeys, crocodiles, toucans and many other exotic
species.
