Azania Bungalows
Azania Bungalows are located in a beachfront property at Cocles Beach (A costa Rican Blue Flag beach, the blue flag is awarded to clean beaches by the Costa Rican government). Cocles Beach is located 1.5 km south of Puerto Viejo, on the road to Manzanillo, south caribean coast of Costa Rica.
The exotic thatched roof bungalows, located just a few steps from the ocean, are surrounded by a tropical rainforest, with tasteful decoration and lots of space, each one privately secluded by majestic gardens full of color and natural beauty. Designed and constructed in a one of a kind style that blends traditional materials with exotic woods and thatched palm roofs, each bungalow has its own atmosphere and can lodge up to 4 people comfortably in one queen size bed and two full size beds, with a mezannine to provide privacy for one of the twin beds, plus lots of space. Bamboo lamps and furniture add to the decoration. Ceiling fans, large windows and high roofs allow for a refreshing atmosphere while protecting lodgers with mosquito nets.
Other commodities include a minibar, security box and a sauna style bathroom, with a soft light environment that allows you to admire the natural surroundings while enjoying a refreshing invigorating shower. You can also relax at the bungalow's private deck and marvel at the wonderful tropical gardens and the exotic plants serving as habitat for a great variety of birds and butterflies, each deck features its own hammock. Listen to the sounds of the jungle at night or just enjoy the bright stars and moonlight.
A free form swimming pool also surrounded by tropical gardens is the best way to chill after a day full of excitement and fun, sunbathe or enjoy the natural environment.
Treat yourself to a candlelight dinner while sipping tropical cocktails at our "Quincho" style rancho, add the sounds of the jungle and the sparkling water from the sculpted waterfall connecting to the jacuzzi and you have the combination for a perfect sunset.
The Club House/Reception building, with a typical architecture resembling the surrounding rainforest, provides an excellent location for a tropical breakfast, fresh drinks, music, DirectTV, games and the information center, where you can learn about more entertaining activities and get helpful advice from our staff of professionals.
For those with a taste for fine cuisine, the restaurant offers the possibility of enjoying exquisite argentinian dishes, tastefully combined with the local flavors for an unique combination not to be enjoyed anywhere else.
