Villa Pelicano is described as the ‘mansion’ of Manuel Antonio and a landmark of the town with its walled entrance featuring giant hand-painted Pelicans. As your private gate opens you will drive down a palmed lined driveway to your 5 acre palace. Upon entering the home the two story cathedral ceilings will awe you as will the enormous size of the living, dining, verandas, pool, bedrooms, baths and walk in closets. The four master rooms with King Size beds are spacious with glass sliders allowing you to feel the fresh breezes off of the ocean. There are two Jacuzzi tubs to pamper you, air conditioning to keep you cool, large verandas to take in the panoramic views and to see the wild life passing through the trees. The fifth room is a luxurious suite with glass sliders facing the jungle views, with air conditioning, 2 double beds, private seating area, and large verandas.
The living room has two-story cathedral ceiling and wraparound balcony, Costa Rican modern art, Satellite TV, VCR, stereo and CD player. The second level of the home is wide open with extra seating area, a balcony looking out over the ocean with a telescope for viewing close-ups of the beaches and rainforest below you. You will find the perfect spot to cool off is in the expansive swimming pool with its cushioned lounge chairs and shade umbrellas. Staff is on the premises in a separate servant’s house located near the entrance to the estate with 2 maids and caretaker.
The full time staff includes maid service 7 days a week, chef services including preparation of 3 gourmet meals per day (6 days per week) by professional chef Roger, and full time concierge service to assist you with all your needs.
